Rigi enables visual localization by generating a pseudo language pack that holds the Rigi signatures. The pseudo langauge is specified in the solution (.rigsln).

In most cases, the generation of the pseudo language is done at the development side as part of the build process using the Rigi framework.

In some organizations, the project manager may be responsible to generate the pseudo language packs. It is possible to generate the pack using the Passolo addin.

  1. Open a string list in Passolo for one of the target languages.

  2. Select Tools >  Rigi addin for SDL Passolo > Generate pseudo resources...

The pseudo language pack is generated. In our demo application, Latvian (lv) is the pseudo language:

  3. Install the pseudo-translated on a test server.
