Solution editor
The Solution Editor is a Windows tool that helps the developers (or project manager) to define a Rigi solution. A solution contains one or more projects. Each project contains source files that must be localized into various languages. Per file the parser and target rule are defined.

For Project Managers
There are two ways to setup your projects for SDL Studio:

  1. SDL Trados Studio. A project manager can do a kind of ID-based localization using perfect matches. That would work if one TM is used for the same project and if the order of the software strings in the source files does not change too much.
  2. SDL Worldserver. It is possible to define your Rigi projects in SDL Worldserver and do an ID-based translation there using the SID concept that was introduced late 2016. Worldserver then creates translation packages that translators can open in SDL Studio.
