Inline patterns are part of the Passolo project (.lpu) andstored within the project. It is highly recommended to work with the same project file throughout each release to keep consistency with the inline patterns.

General scenario would be after the first source file evaluation to generate pseudo translations and send them to the developers to make sure that everything is protected that needs to stay untouched. However approach may differ project by project.

The inline patterns have two goals:

  1. Show certain patterns as inline tags, and
  2. Perform quality checks.

Steps

  1. Make sure that the “Inline Patterns” are selected. To open Inline patterns choose File > Options > Checking

  2. Click Setup

The patterns that have enabled “Checking”, will be executed during the check.
